When I was little, I wanted to be an ophthalmologist (to see people's soul) or a marine biologist (to explore what we don't see). My grandparents had a projection room and would show us Laurel and Hardy, Woody Woodpecker, Marx Bros and others. I found my calling when I was 20, when I saw Mauvais sang by Leos Carax.

When I was 6 years old, I got a hold of the McGill University course book. I made a list of things I wanted to be. My parents told me I would have to be in school for 40 years. I was going to be a train engineer-surgeon-architect-actor-photographer-orchestra conductor with a minor in astrophysics who also drives race cars in between my NHL games.

I shot my first film when I was 9 years old. I used my dad's Super 8 camera and 2 VHS readers to edit my films by pressing "play" on the left VHS, and "record" on the right VHS. My cuts were intertwined by surprising swedish porn scenes from the videotapes I stole from my dad. My films always had a lot of success.
